Our Story – Built by a Guesthouse Owner, for Guesthouse Owners
This is not just another accounting program. It is a practical solution to the real challenges every accommodation establishment faces.
I didn’t set out to create software to make money. I simply wanted to solve a problem I was experiencing in managing my own guesthouse.
I started with pen and paper. Later I moved to Excel, but I was still only tracking basic monthly income and expenses. In our highly seasonal industry, that wasn’t enough. I needed to plan ahead for the quiet months — daily income targets, number of rooms to sell, cash flow to cover costs, and upcoming expenses.
Every day I worked it out by hand, until I taught myself to write formulas in Excel to simplify the process.
A few years ago I was bedridden for a few days. Even then, I continued managing my lodge from bed. It was during that time I realised other guesthouse and lodge owners could also benefit from the same system. To be honest, this system is one of the main reasons my lodge was able to survive through the difficult COVID period.
I partnered with ACTiV8 MEDIA, who handled the technical development, installation, setup, and support. Together we combined real-world hospitality experience with technical expertise to create a unique, practical management system for the hospitality industry — one that isn’t available anywhere else.
